Re: New Double Reed Shelf

For those of us who may need to know, how does your shelf get attached to the stand?  I saw what looked like two bolts...is it with these?  Or is this designed to be a more or less permanent addition to a music stand?  I suppose what I'm asking is how easy it is to install and remove?  I'm somewhat klutzy, and with a bassoon in my hand, and tools, and reeds, and water cup, this could really make things easier, but only if it's easy to install and take down.

Looks great, though.  I may have to get one when funds shift a bit more in my favor.

Thanks for the inquiry  KC.   The tray is easily installed and removed with two plastic knobs.

Looks like an intersting gadget, but personally I just hate websites that won't let you out of them!

What's happening Nancy?  I get no unusual things from the website, although I'm not a fan of splash intro pages.

Re: New Double Reed Shelf

Well, yesterday no matter what I did I couldn't get out of the website - had to close down and start all over, etc.  Today no problem.  So I guess I have to say it must have been an aberration.  Sorry to badmouth the site!

Re: New Double Reed Shelf

The flash intro page was linked back each time as the home page.  I can see how that was annoying so I removed it.
The website is harmless and easy to leave.

Re: New Double Reed Shelf

I have used these at home and at work for the last 5 years.  I liked them so much I purchased them for the entire Detroit Symphony double-reed section.
