Re: Detroit Symphony could be in trouble

I would be curious to hear Bob Williams' take on the Detroit situation.  The prinicpal tuba in our orchestra has been playing as a sub for the DSO for about a year now.  They held one audition that I know of for the position and didn't fill it.  Was it only a formality to hold the audition or did they legitimately not find someone to fill the seat?

Re: Detroit Symphony could be in trouble

I have since been corrected on the status of the Principal Tuba job.  DSO has hired someone for the position.  I apologize for my error.
